Look the computer case.
Some manufacturers will put a sticker right on the case imprinted with the date the computer was built.
NOTE : If u bought a system from a vendor other than manufacturer then you need to check the system information
If there is no sticker on the case, continue with the following steps to make a determination.
STEP 1
Start menu --> Control Panel --> Go to System. Among the information here, you'll find the copyright date or version date for your operating system edition. This is a vague idea at best, but it will help determine if the computer is a year or two old or if it is several years old.
STEP 2
In System information, note the manufacturer and model number if that information is given. If you go to the manufacturer's web site, you may be able to do a search of the model number and find when that model was introduced and when it was discontinued if applicable.
STEP 3
If the operating system is still the original system that was installed when the computer was new, you can check when operating system files were created.
Browse the C: drive to the Windows folder. Right click on the folder-->select Properties-->Locate the created date
